Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, Real Estate is responsible for collaborating with the Enterprise Real Estate team (“ERE”) to provide support across all Comcast Connectivity and Platforms business units. Collectively, these operations span more than 2,800 properties situated in forty-two states and fifteen countries worldwide. The portfolio encompasses a broad range of commercial property types, including office spaces, call centers, industrial/flex facilities, retail locations, and data centers.

Job Description

Job Summary:

This role oversees analytics and reporting for the Enterprise Real Estate team, including property analytics, transaction tracking, data management, portfolio modeling, and reporting. The position involves regular interaction with internal business units and partner groups such as Legal, IT, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Environmental Health and Safety, Risk, and Security.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the portfolio analytics and reporting functions.
  • Maintain relationships with departments that have data sources that are necessary to create insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to assist senior leaders with planning and executive meetings.
  • Conduct financial analysis for real estate scenarios such as own vs. lease, consolidation, disposition, co-working vs. traditional leases, and site comparisons.
  • Collaborate with brokers and field personnel to establish consistency with transaction level analysis.
  • Create analysis templates for brokers and field personnel.
  • Collaborate across the broader real estate organization to share best practices and data sources.
  • Assist with other reporting and analytical projects as needed such as energy, sustainability, and construction.
  • Attend industry conferences and training to keep on current on the latest technology and reporting methodologies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Real Estate Information Systems leader.
  • Other real estate transaction management, planning, and/or reporting duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of analytical and/or reporting experience.
  • Experience with business intelligence programs like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools like Excel and SQL.
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis and concepts such as comparative cost analysis, time value of money, and valuation techniques.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision, consistently delivering accurate results within established deadlines.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with limited supervision.
  • Must be available to work on-site at least four days per week, travel as required (approximately 5% of the time), and perform duties outside regular business hours when necessary.
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in quantitative discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Real estate industry certifications such as CCIM, MCR, REFAI etc
  • Graduate level education
  • Commercial real estate experience
