As the Software Solution Architect, IT Transformation you will design, build, and test Stryker’s mobile Field Inventory Management platform - Event & Inventory Management (EIM). You will deliver the end-to-end solution critical to Stryker’s success through technical documentation, configuration, and/or development within applications, and play a key role in transitioning knowledge of new and enhanced capabilities to the service delivery team.
*Hybrid role requiring 1-2 days in office per week*

What you will do
- Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes including development of system and technical documentation.
- Responsible for the design and implementation of an Event & Field Inventory Management solution to support Stryker’s global field inventory needs.
- Solution capabilities within Stryker’s EIM platform focused around but not limited to Surgical & Marketing Events, Event Inventory Requests, Event Usage Capture, & Cycle Counts.
- Technical Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within a Shared Service Platform/application stack.
- Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance and technical efficiencies.
- Be able to support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes
- Recommend approaches to optimize/tune systems performance.
- Work with other IS teams along with business teams to deliver business solutions
- Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stack
- Lead and mentor Solution Analysts within the team and provide oversight and guidance.
What you need
- Bachelor's Degree in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
- 8+ years of relevant experience required.
- 3+ years of experience leading project team resources required.
- Experience designing and building custom mobile applications required.
- Experience with React Native & JS is preferred.
- Experience deploying custom SFDC(Salesforce.com) solutions leveraging Heroku is preferred.
- Azure DevOps (ADO) experience preferred.
- Experience in database query design is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of global system rollouts – strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning preferred.
- Knowledge of and ability to drive IS methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development is preferred.
