About the Role

Responsible for leading and motivating the agency force & sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by executing strategic sales plans in alignment with company objectives. This role involves recruiting, training, and managing high-performing sales teams, fostering robust relationships with stakeholders, collaborating with marketing teams, managing sales budgets, and analyzing sales trends to drive informed decision-making.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the agency force to consistently achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with company objectives to drive sales growth.
  • Implement motivational strategies to maintain high levels of enthusiasm and commitment within the sales team.
  • Design and conduct comprehensive leader development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
  • Provide continuous guidance, support, and coaching to elevate team performance and address any performance issues.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Foster a collaborative team culture that enhances productivity and ensures seamless communication across departments.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies and product marketing to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts to maximize the impact of promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve revenue targets.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability and maintain budgetary control.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive sales performance reports to senior management with valuable insights into sales achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations for future improvements.
  • Proactively address knowledge gaps and skill development needs within the team to enhance overall performance.

Financial Measure: Revenue Growth, Profitability, Budget Management, Sales Efficiency

Non-Financial Measure: Team Performance & Development, Stakeholder Relationships, Innovation & Improvement

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Prefer 5-8 years of experience in all aspects of planning and implementing sales strategy or related fields.
  • Proven record of managing and giving directions to sales team members, align and work together with other stakeholders.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication in both Burmese and English - needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally.
