Join our team in Spencer, Wisconsin as an HR Business Partner you become a pivotal figure in fostering a culture of wellbeing and positive employee relations. In this role, you will partner with leadership and employees to navigate the complexities of HR functions, ensuring alignment with our strategic business objectives and contributing to our legacy of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Labor Relations: Promote dialogue and partnership between management and union leaders. Provide counsel and guidance on labor issues and standards. Resolve disputes and complaints timely and fairly.
Strategic Collaboration: Engage with leadership to proactively identify and implement solutions that address organizational needs.
Leadership Development: Empower and coach leaders to secure commitment and drive organizational performance.
Policy Education: Guide consistent enforcement of policies and union agreements, reinforcing a culture of positive employee relations.
Investigative Oversight: Lead thorough investigations and recommend actions that align with management’s direction and company values.
Risk Mitigation: Analyze and interpret multifaceted situations, applying HR expertise to minimize organizational risk.
Compliance Partnership: Collaborate with EHS and plant leadership to ensure adherence to leave policies and legal requirements.
Legal Coordination: Work alongside the HR Leader to maintain compliance and manage responses to legal and policy inquiries.
Required Education – Experience:
High School Diploma and 5 plus years or Associate’s degree in human resources or a related field, plus 3 plus years of HR Generalist/Business Partner experience.
Candidates with PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing or warehousing environment highly preferred.
Union experiences preferred.

Work Schedule:
The role is primarily first shift hours but requires flexibility to accommodate a three-shift operation, including occasional off-shift work for effective communication and engagement.
