As the Senior Finance Director for HDGT Services for the Americas region, you will provide guidance for a $4.7B region, driving commercial growth, profitability and cash. You will be fully accountable for the business financials for each contract in the portfolio.

Job Description

The Senior Finance Director for HDGT Services for the Americas is the strategic partner to business operations and this role will leverage Services expertise to assist the commercial and operations teams in planning and driving execution, commercial or operational.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver growth and productivity in the largest region in the world with $4.7B Revenue forecasted.
  • Drive finance transformation and lead culture change in ITR.
  • Risk mitigation strategies in a highly dynamic market portfolio.
  • Provide wing to wing ITO and OTR financial execution seeking to optimize financials (Orders, P&L, Cash) and identify potential commercial & operational risks and opportunities for the defined America’s portfolio.
  • Partner with Service Operations Finance and Global Services FP&A for all planning cycles and pacing.
  • Partner with the ITR Operating teams, Service Directors and Commercial teams to provide inputs for decision making to optimize financial performance both short term and long term.
  • Provide country or contract specific knowledge to evaluate deal economics, risk profiles, and progress deals towards commercial closure. Act as financial approval authority for all deals contracted in the region.
  • Optimize cash metrics in partnership with the Cash Leader on collections, past dues, billed / paid on time, LC processes – drive PSRs and identify action items to continue driving progress.
  • Execute all finance deliverables per standards set up by the HDGT Services business lines.
  • Maintain oversight of key operational and commercial processes such as Advance Release, bank guarantees, concession review board, P5 deal reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or equivalent international degree or equivalent knowledge or experience  
  • Major experience in finance or operations function
  • Strong accounting technical skills
  • Knowledge in managing multiple ERPs, planning and reporting tools, automation, digitization 
  • Foster strong analytical skills to produce in-depth future profitability metrics based on historical trends 

Desired Characteristics:

  • Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • You have a passion for leading large, complex projects that balance multiple stakeholders
  • You are someone who has the ability to deliver with focus during change, prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to priorities  
  • You have experience in driving process improvement, lean initiatives, driving out waste 
  • You have excellent time management, organizational and data driven skills to allow to operate in a highly matrixed organization 
  • Preference will be given to current Gas Power Finance employees 

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $232,000 and $348,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
