We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Architect and Team Lead, with a speciality in business applications and workplace automation, to join our Microsoft AI Business Solutions team.

The Opportunity:

As a Power Platform Architect and Team Lead, you will be responsible for architecture, governance, and providing technical leadership and ownership on implementation projects.

In this role you will: 

· Engage with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Power Platform.

· Design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, and automation using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.

· Provide technical leadership, mentoring and managing team members and promoting best practices in development and solution architecture.

· Work closely with other functional consultants to ensure technical feasibility and optimal implementation of business requirements.

· Optimise performance and scalability of Power Platform solutions.

· Conduct code reviews, system testing, and troubleshoot complex issues.

· Prepare design documents and other technical documentation.

· Stay updated with Microsoft Power Platform advancements and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

This is a senior role, candidates must have at least 7 years of industry-relevant experience in this area, including:

· Excellent communication and senior stakeholder management skills.

· 5+ years’ experience with Power Platform and Dataverse development.

· Experience of operating as a Team Lead and Solution Architect.

· Proven experience as a client-facing senior consultant for Power Platform.

· Expertise in developing solutions with Power Apps (Model-driven & Canvas), Power Automate, and Power Pages.

· Experience of system integration using APIs and Azure integration services.

· Deep understanding of Dataverse, security models, and governance best practices.

· Familiarity with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform.

· Experience of system migration and data migration work.

· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

· Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.

Set yourself apart if you can demonstrate some of the areas below: 

· Experience leading a large technical Power Platform team in Ireland for either one Enterprise client or cross-client.

· Experience leveraging Copilot Studio and GenAI components with Power Platform to deliver on business requirements.

· Experience leading an AI-enabled Power Platform team.

· Deep industry experience in one of the key focus areas, such as Public Sector, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services or Consumer & Retail.
