Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European entities. In the space of 4 years, it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations: Lisbon, Tomar and Guarda. The geographical scope was extended to include, besides the European affiliates also entities located in Africa, Middle-East and India, and the operational scope was extended and includes today not just Finance, but also Human Resources.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Key Responsibilities:
Accompanying GBS Department Development and Transformation
Contribute to the deployment of communication actions and tools for a global internal audience, ensuring consistency in corporate voice, core messaging, and compliance
Develop and maintain reference communication tools (presentation slidedeck, intranet, etc.)
Harmonize, rationalize, and update existing communication tools across geographies
Develop and deploy the necessary actions to accompany the future milestones of the GBS
Foster Engagement and a Sense of Belonging Among Employees of this Global Entity
Animate GBS Channels: Moderate, generate content for, and plan communication on worldwide GBS community digital platforms
Own and drive Global Town Halls: Oversee the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of global town halls and other communication events, including scheduling, technology setup, invitation management, and follow-up
Generate content: Draft, edit, and publish content to maintain community participation, knowledge exchange, and strategic alignment
Contribute to Enhancing GBS Comprehension and Reputation Towards internal Stakeholders
Develop the necessary tools and actions to promote GBS towards its internal customers (HR, Finance, etc. functions, Clusters)
Promote and relay Group-led initiatives and messages, thereby enhancing GBS employee connection to the Group
Are you a MATCH?
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a closely relevant discipline
Up to 5 years of professional experience in a communications role, preferably within a large multinational corporation (MNC) or a comparable global organization
Demonstrated competency in written and verbal English communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts with clarity and precision for an international audience
Strong organizational abilities, project management skills, and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple simultaneous, high-priority projects
Proficiency is required in the Google suite or other comparable tools and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Google Space/Chat, internal social platforms)
Preferred:
Experience in managing or animating a professional online community for a large employee base
Direct experience in corporate event planning and execution for virtual and/or hybrid global events
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) or video editing (e.g. PlayPlay) is an advantage
A proactive, solutions-oriented, and creative approach, with the ability to autonomously propose and execute new concepts for engaging the worldwide community
The ability to operate productively, collaboratively, and independently within a multicultural, worldwide team environment
