About the team

This position is for our IP Data Conversion team. IP Data conversion team manages conversions/deconversions across multiple FIS and third-party products and we develop legacy conversion tools to convert source data into FIS readable format. Team is primarily developing tools in Angular, Python and C# .Net. Team is also responsible for initiating and resolving SFTP requests.

What you will be doing:

• Proficiency in configuring and managing routers and switches.
• Knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) and switching technologies (e.g., VLANs, STP).
• Ability to configure and manage SFTP servers and clients.
• Knowledge of encryption and security best practices for file transfers.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

What you bring:

• Typically, 2-4 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with routing and switching, SFTP.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Understanding of SFTP protocols and secure file transfer mechanisms.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience with Globalscape EFT (Enhanced File Transfer) platform.
• Ability to configure, manage, and troubleshoot Globalscape EFT solutions.
• Understanding of Globalscape’s security features and compliance requirements.
