About You

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Annotator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the success of our AI and machine learning initiatives by accurately labeling and categorizing large datasets. Your work will directly contribute to training and improving our machine learning models, ensuring the quality and integrity of the data used for AI development.

What You'll Do

• Review and annotate images with our Machine Learning and QA teams to measure and improve the performance of our image processing algorithms.
• Organize annotation results, and share reports and insights with the broader engineering and operations team.
• Build tools and techniques that support the outsourcing of our annotation process, including potentially building lightweight tests and tools.
• Grow into a broader QA/QC Engineer role, and/or potentially help us manage 3rd party resources and relationships. [depending on your individual interest and skills]

What You'll Need

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of statistics, and able to work with data.
• Familiarity with Python, including experience actively using standard test frameworks (e.g. pytest.)
• Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Bonus points for...

• 2+ years in quality assurance or product support.
• 1+ years experience with enterprise-grade ticketing systems (e.g. Jira.)
• Experience working with data annotation for Computer Vision/ML teams.
• Small team experience.
