Sr. Financial Analyst FP&A

Massillon, Ohio (Hybrid schedule)

 

The Sr. Financial Analyst (FP&A) supports all of Shearer’s Supply Chain including manufacturing/warehouse facilities and central support teams. As a member of the central FP&A team, the Sr. Financial Analyst is a key support resource for management and manufacturing/warehouse facilities. Key areas of responsibility include creating bill of materials for costing, labor routings, new part setup, BOM maintenance, standard cost updates, financial analysis, and special projects to generate business insights in collaboration with cross-functional teams and plant/warehouse leadership teams.

Your Seat at the Table:

  • Responsible for product costing and standard costs analysis and accuracy
  • Maintain and update labor routings while working cross functionally with our manufacturing plants to align on standards
  • Investigate and conduct analysis on potential Bill of Material issues and conduct large scale BOM updates as necessary.
  • Ad hoc analysis and special projects
  • Responsible for overhead analysis and overhead rate calculation
  • Assist part setup team with new finished goods set up and BOM updates

What you Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Major preferred.
  • 3-6 years of relevant finance experience. Work experience in cost accounting, analytics and/or strategic business consulting is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment with internal deadlines.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to coordinate special projects, anticipate issues and take initiative to resolve them.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible work schedule to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
