If you are a current Linnaeus Associate, you will need to apply internally. In order to do this, please contact our Talent Acquisition team (details can be found via The Link) and someone will be in touch to discuss and progress your application.
Eastcott Veterinary Referrals is situated in Swindon, Wiltshire, between Bristol and London and close to the Cotswolds and the North Wessex Downs area of outstanding natural beauty.
Within the hospital, we are a small and friendly diagnostic imaging team looking to grow.
We are currently one radiographer, three imaging nurses, one diagnostic imaging diplomate, one resident, and one intern. We have the desire to add another diagnostic imaging diplomate to our number in the first instance before looking at increasing or changing our training provision.
We work in a multi-disciplinary hospital with skilled and conscientious colleagues with a friendly and inclusive attitude to achieve the best outcomes that we can for our patients.
As imagers, we work closely with our medics, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeons, neurologists, dentists, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, anaesthetists and nurses, and we also support our in house first opinion and ECC teams who often bring us very interesting cases.
Modalites include Phillips 1.5T MRI, GE 64 slice CT, Phillips Epic 7G US, C-arm fluoroscopy, and two X-ray rooms with direct radiography.
A number of interventional procedures go on regularly within our surgical and cardiologist teams, resulting in the opportunity to learn about and read these less common studies.
Eastcott is a learning environment, where we strive to foster an honest learning curve, sharing knowledge and supporting each other in expanding on it.
We would like to invite applications for a part time diplomate post. We are working on the basis of three 9-hour days, one of which could be worked from home, with half of our one in four on call rota (i.e. 1 in 8) which is shared between radiologsits, radiographer and imaging nurses.
Out of hours work is paid according to call outs and time worked, with time off in lieu also offered.
Working a smaller portion of the 40 hour working week would also be considered.
