Job Summary 

  • The Senior Manager, QFS is responsible for leading integrated Quality and Food Safety assurance and execution across the assigned markets, operating as a individual contributor 

  • The role ensures bottling operations, co-packers, and marketplace activities consistently meet KORE, OU, and local regulatory requirements while building strong capability, culture, and system maturity across the network. 

  • Implement the strategies, priorities and governance models established by the OU central QSE. 

  • Lead the deployment of QFS programs across assigned markets, with strong on-site presence at plants, co-packers, warehouses, distribution centers, and market-facing operations. 

  • Reduce operational and regulatory risk for the bottler and ensure strong culture of risk management, corrective / preventive actions and change management.  

  • Drive proactive risk prevention through robust engineering and system controls, while supporting troubleshooting, incident response, corrective actions, and learning. 

  • Enable sustained improvement in QSE maturity by balancing capability building, and continuous improvement across diverse operational environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

QFS Compliance and Execution 

  • Execute the strategy & overall governance framework developed by OU Central QSE leads for bottling operations, co-packers, and dispensed beverage operations across assigned markets. 

  • Ensure the delivery of KPIs set by OU Central QSE  

  • Ensure standards, and methodologies are aligned between expectations and execution realities. 

  • Ensure consistent implementation and follow up on actions related to KORE, OU-specific, and local regulatory requirements covering ingredients, packaging, processes, finished products, facilities, distribution, and marketplace operations. 

 

Capability Development & Culture 

  • Collaborate with OU central QSE for driving QSE culture transformation, embedding quality, food safety as core values across the market. 

  • Support QSE OU to identify gaps at the region and build bottler capability through coaching, training, workshops, and structured development plans, including KORE updates, lessons learned, Call to Action, and risk management. 

  • Act as a change agent to progressively elevate QFS maturity across markets. 

 

Incident Management, Learning & Continuous Improvement 

  • Lead investigation and resolution of QFS incidents, ensuring root causes are identified and addressed. 

  • Ensure timely closure of corrective actions, drive effectiveness, and ensure learnings are shared and embedded across sites. 

  • Work closely with IMT (incident management team) to ensure timely response of incidents 

  • Act as a liaison between QSE OU and bottler and ensure any critical decision on QSE is aligned with QSE OU policies.  

Performance Monitoring & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Establish regular performance review routines for QFS and HSE KPIs across OU Franchise, Central QSE, bottling operations and co-packers. 

  • Maintain strong on-site engagement through regular plant and facility visits, increasing presence during new equipment installation, major issues, or new product launches. 

  • Partner with Market Technical Leads, Franchise, TechOps, and bottlers to integrate QSE considerations into business and operational decisions. 

  • Influence without authority to drive alignment, execution, and sustained improvement. 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or related discipline. 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QFS, or Technical Operations within FMCG, beverage, or high-risk operational environments. 

  • Strong understanding of beverage processing, food safety systems, and controls. 

  • Experience working across multi-country or franchised/bottler-based systems. 

  • Strong stakeholder management and change leadership capability.
