Circle K Belgium is looking for a Business Controller who loves turning numbers into insights that drive success !

As a Business Controller, you are a key figure within the controlling team. You analyze and monitor the financial performance of our organization and work closely with various departments to achieve—and exceed—our business objectives.

Your Responsibilities

• Monthly Reporting and Analysis: You prepare monthly forecasts of expected results. You review and analyze the final accounting results and any deviations from the budget.
• Cost Control: You monitor, manage, and analyze costs to ensure the budget is respected. You hold department heads accountable and raise awareness.
• Reporting: You develop reports that allow us to steer activities and maintain monthly processes.
• Projects and Studies: You participate in projects and studies requested by various departments and monitor the profitability of new projects against initial assumptions and the business plan, together with the development team.
• Budgeting: You support the controlling manager and department managers in preparing budgets.
• Communication: You communicate the results of your analyses, reports, and deliverables to the controlling manager and CFO. You also regularly liaise with other departments to ensure financial objectives and results are understood and adhered to.
• Presentations: You actively contribute to preparing various presentations for the Business Unit (business review, budget, etc.).

You work in a complex and fast-changing environment with tight deadlines and significant budgets. Reliability, transparency, and traceability of financial data are essential. You build strong relationships with various stakeholders and ensure financial objectives are widely supported within the organization.

Your Profile

• You hold a master’s degree in a financial discipline.
• You have approximately five years of experience in controlling and a solid background in accounting.
• You excel in financial analysis and reporting.
• You communicate effectively, enjoy teamwork, and are analytical and detail-oriented.
• You are flexible, maintain oversight, and understand the connection between numbers, processes, and strategy.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or JDE is a plus
• You are fluent in French, English, and Dutch.
