Schedule Details/Additional Information:
This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no weekends, hospital rounding, or after-hours call.
Pay Range
$47.50 - $71.25Patient Care & Clinical Assessments
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic neurological conditions within established nurse/physician protocols
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation
Develop differential diagnoses and implement appropriate treatment plans
Monitor chronic conditions and assess treatment effectiveness and patient compliance
Determine appropriate follow-up care, referrals, and need for physician intervention
Provide preventive care and patient counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
Ensure infection control protocols are followed and appropriately triage patients
Patient Education
Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care practices
Tailor education to patient learning needs, abilities, and developmental levels
Utilize educational materials and tools to reinforce learning and document outcomes
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records
Ensure documentation supports appropriate billing and reflects the level of care provided
Update problem lists, medication lists, and patient histories regularly
Document all patient interactions, including follow-ups and communication with specialists
Collaboration & Team Support
Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
Provide clinical guidance, training, and support to staff as needed
Participate in improving patient flow and addressing care delivery challenges
Medication & Protocol Management
Prescribe medications in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and state regulations
Adhere to established drug protocols and maintain updated agreements annually
Quality, Safety & Professional Standards
Deliver patient-centered care with respect, confidentiality, and professionalism
Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals
Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and required training
Qualifications
Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia
Prior experience in General Neurology preferred
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment
