Job Description: Senior Manager - Modern Client Device Management Solutions Engineer

The Workforce Platforms team is responsible globally for the physical & virtual methods that our clients use to access business systems, managing our collaboration platforms like email, contact centers and telephony, printing, and the optimization of these services in business deals.

How You Can "Outdo Yesterday"

  • You are responsible for the design, implementation, and management of modern device management solutions.
  • You hold the accountability for the continuous improvement of client device management processes and technologies.
  • You will be involved in the development and execution of device management strategies and roadmaps.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the security of client devices, ensuring compliance with Pfizer's security policies and standards.
  • You will work closely with other IT teams to integrate device management solutions into the broader IT ecosystem.
  • You are expected to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in device management and make recommendations for their adoption.
  • You will provide technical support for device management issues, working with vendors as needed.
  • Your role includes the development and delivery of training materials for end-users and IT staff on device management tools and best practices.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the documentation of device management processes and procedures.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be responsible for the management of device inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • You will also be involved in the evaluation and selection of device management tools and technologies.
  • In this role, you will be the driving force behind the design, implementation, and management of modern client device management solutions.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and understanding our clients' needs, translating them into technical requirements, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • You will be the go-to expert for all things related to client device management, providing technical guidance and support to our clients and internal teams.
  • You will be at the forefront of emerging technologies, keeping abreast of the latest trends and developments in the field of client device management.
  • You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of our solutions with our clients' existing systems and processes.
  • You will work to create an environment where innovation is standard taking appropriate risks to advance innovative processes & solutions.
  • You will be a key player in our continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to enhance our solutions and processes, and driving these improvements to fruition.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Basic Qualifications:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • You have amassed over seven years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on client device management solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive demonstrable experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
  • You are proficient in modern device management tools such as Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
  • You have a deep understanding of Windows 10/11.
  • You possess strong knowledge of Entra ID, on-premises Active Directory and Office 365.
  • You demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • You have a proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects and delivering results on time and within budget.
  • You are a strong communicator with strong understanding of reporting and data visualization technologies, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are a team player, with a commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • 5% international travel.
  • Standard work schedule requiring occasional “out of hours” work, where appropriate to minimize business disruption.
  • Meetings with others with global responsibilities while respecting & accommodating others’ work hours when possible.
