MSIG North America continues to grow! 

This position is responsible to perform the quality and timely data entry requirements for the initialization of all new claims reported on behalf of MSMM customers and the timely distribution of all new claims to the respective Branch Claims Offices within MSMM processing guidelines. Is accountable for the processing of centralized task assignments and/or projects assigned to the Claims Service Center.

Essential Functions:

Claim Reporting                                                                                                                                              

  • Conducts timely and accurate registration of all new loss notices for all lines of business within MSMM System of Record to ensure the appropriate data integrity for the purposes of reporting, claims handling, and financial auditing.

  • Performs timely distribution of new losses to the respective handling Claims Offices within the stated MSMM standards.

  • Conducts centralized preparation and distribution of Claim Acknowledgement correspondence for all new claims in an effort to provide timely communication and acknowledgement of all new claims.

Operational Compliance                                                                                                                                              20%

  • Conducts timely and accurate processing of all expense payments on behalf of the Claims Offices within the MSMM stated guidelines.

  • Conducts monthly purge of all physical claim files/documents to off-site storage facility in accordance with MSMM and state record retention guidelines.  This includes both the physical filing of all purged claims into storage boxes and updating the purged file database to reflect the storage location change.

  • Completes the Centralized Index Bureau requirements for all new reported claims to ensure prompt notice of new claims to all involved agencies and/or Claims partners.

  • Provides back-up support to CSC Processing Unit to meet and/or improve processing task efficiencies in an effort to meet the current and future demands of MSMM Customers.

Customer Service                                                                                                                                        

  • Assists in monitoring the toll-free Customer Service line in an effort to ensure prompt handling and/or distribution of all claim inquiries.

Education and Experience Required: 

  • High School Degree or G.E.D. is required.
  • 1+ year work experience in the insurance industry is required.
