Job Description

PURPOSES OF THE POSITION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Dispensing Operator is responsible for weighing, picking, identifying, and preparing raw materials, in compliance with company procedures and GMP regulations, in order to ensure correct and timely supply to the production departments.

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS/PRIMARY ACTIVITIES:

Scheduling

• Perform daily and weekly activities in line with the production plan, adhering to operational priorities based on production needs and urgencies, and optimizing the use of resources (personnel, materials, equipment). Monitor activity progress and ensure deadlines are met.

Handling

• Verify the correct functioning of the scales and department equipment, reporting any anomalies or faults.

Production

• Perform raw material dispensing activities according to production instructions and applicable operating procedures. Sample, weigh, and dose raw materials, verifying their identity, batch, quantity, and compliance.

Quality

• Ensure compliance with GMP standards, safety, hygiene and behavior procedures in classified environments.

Procedures

• Ensure the application of SOPs and operating procedures for the relevant department.

Consumables

• Manage the transfer of materials to production departments in compliance with traceability procedures.

Maintenance

• Support the Technical Services function in the maintenance of production plants, promptly reporting any anomalies and supporting the definition of appropriate actions to resolve production problems (equipment failures), in compliance with quality standards and production quantity requirements.

Technical Training

• Ensure technical and GMP training for the production facility by identifying needs and proposing appropriate actions to provide adequate training.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIALS

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of the main weighing machines (especially electronic/computer-based ones)
• Ability to use the main information systems
• Use of delegation tools
• Knowledge of GMP related to weighing processes

Professional Experiences

• Consolidated experience in the management of weighing systems

Personality Traits

• Ability to work in a team
