About the Opportunity

Join our Information Services (IS) Portfolio and Process Management team as an Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting the operational excellence of Driscoll’s Global IT Management Functions. This internship is designed for those interested in learning about IT Portfolio Management, Financial Management, Process Improvement, Performance Management, and Governance in a professional setting. Key technologies/services you will interact with: Office 365, SharePoint Online, ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management). You’ll assist with administration, documentation, data analysis and visualization, and leadership presentations, while learning from experienced Portfolio Analysts.

 

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Office of the CIO.

• Support Portfolio Analysts in Idea, Demand, and Project lifecycle.

• Shadow team members and participate in meetings to learn about enterprise IT operations.

• Help document procedures and process diagrams.

• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership, both verbally and in writing.

• Collect, model, monitor, and analyze financial and business data.

• Contribute to projects or pilots as assigned, with guidance from senior staff.

• Create presentations for management/executive audience.

• Learn about ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) capabilities and collaborate on implementing features.

• Test and provide feedback on data visualization dashboards.

   

Candidate Profile

***IMPORTANT***

- This is an onsite, 12month internship based in Watsonville, CA, ideally starting between March-June

- A housing stipend is NOT available for this internship

- We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time or in the future. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

Requirements

•    Must be a recent grad or senior graduating this summer

•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field by Internship start
•    Proficient with Office 365 tools or similar – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams, SharePoint

Compensation

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.  The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors. 

The hourly range estimated for this internship is: $22 - $30
