Summary:
A job description for Cisco Routing and Switching typically involves configuring, troubleshooting, and

candidate to demonstrate real world exposure with a deep technical knowledge specifically in Cisco
Catalyst and Nexus 9000 Routing and Switching , ACI , DCNM , Spine and Leaf Technology , VXVLAN
( EVPN).

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align infrastructure projects with organizational goals.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required skills and experience
Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching hardware (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR).
Expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols and technologies.
Proficiency with routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
Familiarity with network security concepts and tools.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Proficiency in using command-line interfaces for Cisco devices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with tools like Wireshark is often beneficial.

- Experience : 6 to 8 Years
Certification Preferred – CCNP , CCIE
