Reports to: Head of Country Executive Sales and Distribution Poland 

Scope: National 

Location: Poznań, Poland

JOB PURPOSE 

 

This role exists to ensure perfect instore execution and drive competitive growth across the West region. You will lead a large field team, expand store coverage, and turn data into action so our brands win at shelf every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead the sales execution strategy in the West region across Modern Trade and Traditional/Proxy channels for all Unilever divisions (FOOD/BPC/HC/IC). 

  • Manage, inspire, and develop a field team of 100+ people, building daily execution excellence. 

  • Expand store coverage by recruiting new stores, improving routes, and increasing distribution efficiency. 

  • Partner with CDM, CCD, Catman, and Trade Marketing teams to develop instore solutions that increase brand penetration. 

  • Lead the deployment and adoption of the Perfect Store program and ensure compliance. 

  • Use data, technology, and reporting tools to track performance, identify gaps, and drive improvement. 

  • Own budget management, securing effective ROI on trade and execution investments. 

  • Build simple and efficient communication flows across the Executive Sales & Distribution team. 

  • Support Key Account teams for Regional Local Chains (RLCH) on plans, trade terms, and execution, including select toptotop meetings. 

  • Improve reporting systems and sales tools to support daily field operations. 

     

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 2+ years leading field sales teams with significant people-management responsibility (4+ direct reports, 10+ total team members minimum). 

  • Proven leadership, coaching, and capability-building experience in FMCG. 

  • Strong stakeholder management with internal teams and external trade partners. 

  • Experience in Traditional Trade and direct experience working with Regional Local Chains (RLCH) as a must.  

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong presentation skills. 

  • Highly data-driven, able to work with execution KPIs, ROI, cost optimization, and basic P&L understanding.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience in channel development or customer management for Regional Local Chains. 

  • Previous work with Perfect Store or similar execution frameworks. 

  • Ability to work with analytics/technology tools supporting field execution. 

  • English language skills — nice to have.
