Product Owner – Disruption Management
Role Overview
We are seeking a Product Owner, Disruption Management to own the vision, strategy, and execution of products that help airlines detect, manage, and recover from operational disruptions. This role is responsible for managing the current SabreSonic Service Recovery products while leading the evolution towards Sabre Mosaic Disruption Management.
This role focuses on intelligent reaccommodating, scalable automation, and seamless traveler and agent experiences across air and non‑air services. You will work cross‑functionally with engineering, delivery, UX and commercial teams to drive measurable outcomes, including improved operational efficiency, reduced manual servicing, and prevention of revenue leakage.
Key Responsibilities
Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for Disruption Management products
Translate airline operational challenges into clear, outcome-driven product outcomes
Balance short term operational needs with long‑term evolution towards Sabre Mosaic
Track competitive landscape and industry trends in service recovery, self‑service, and automation
Write clear business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Prioritize and manage the product backlog
Partner closely with engineering, delivery, care, UX and commercial teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions
Work with Data & Analytics and Sabre Labs to leverage real‑time data, rules, and intelligent decisioning
Support Sales Engineering, Delivery, and Customer Care with product expertise and demos
Drive measurable outcomes for airline customers, including operational efficiency, reduced manual servicing, improved customer satisfaction, and revenue protection
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Product Manager, or delivering complex, workflow‑driven products
Strong customer empathy and ability to translate operational problems into product solutions
Experience working in agile product teams and managing backlogs end‑to‑end
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to lead through influence
Analytical mindset with comfort using data to inform decisions
Experience in airline, travel, transportation, or large‑scale operational systems
Familiarity with disruption management, service recovery, or order/PNR‑based servicing
Experience with B2B SaaS or platform‑based products
Exposure to AI/ML‑driven decisioning or event‑driven systems
