About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager – China Platforms, you will own and drive the product strategy and execution for MOVE’s China-facing digital ecosystem — including WeChat Mini Program, Alipay Mini Program, and MOVE’s websites and mobile apps serving China users.

This role requires a strong understanding of China’s digital landscape, platform ecosystems, and payment environments. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Commercial, Marketing, and Partnerships to ensure MOVE delivers a localized, high-performing, and scalable travel experience for China users.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Platform Ownership

  • Own the product roadmap for MOVE China platforms (WeChat Mini Program, Alipay Mini Program, Web, App).

  • Define product vision aligned with China growth strategy and cross-border travel objectives.

  • Drive localization strategy for China users, including UX, payments, and ecosystem integrations.

  • Identify growth levers within China’s super-app ecosystem.

2. Product Development & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver features across mini programs, web, and app.

  • Prioritize backlog based on impact, feasibility, and China market relevance.

  • Ensure high-quality execution, platform compliance, and scalability.

3. Ecosystem & Platform Integration

  • Drive integration with WeChat ecosystem features (login, wallet, social sharing, customer engagement tools).

  • Manage Alipay integrations including wallet incentives, payment flows, and promotional campaigns.

  • Partner with China commercial and partnerships teams to align product initiatives with campaigns and tourism board collaborations.

  • Ensure compliance with China regulatory requirements where applicable.

4. Data, Growth & Optimization

  • Monitor KPIs including acquisition, conversion, retention, and transaction success rates.

  • Conduct A/B testing and optimize user journeys within mini program constraints.
    Leverage analytics to improve performance across platforms.

  • Work with data teams to build dashboards and insights specific to China users.

5. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the single product owner for China platforms.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, legal, and external partners.
    Present roadmap updates and performance reports to leadership.

  • Ensure alignment between China operations and regional MOVE strategy.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • 6+  years of experience in Product Management.

  • Experience managing products within China digital ecosystems (WeChat, Alipay, or similar super-app environments).

  • Strong understanding of Mini Program architecture and platform constraints.

  • Experience with consumer-facing digital products (OTA, e-commerce, fintech, or marketplace preferred).

  • Solid understanding of APIs, microservices, and platform integrations.

  • Experience working in Agile development environments.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in TravelTech, OTA, cross-border commerce, or digital payments.

  • Experience launching or scaling products within China market.

  • Familiarity with Tencent and Ant ecosystem commercial tools.

  • Experience working in fast-scaling startups or regional tech platforms.

  • 推动中国用户本地化策略,包括用户体验、支付方式及生态整合。

  • 挖掘中国超级应用生态中的增长机会与驱动因素。


2. 产品开发与执行

  • 主导产品从需求探索、开发上线到持续迭代的全生命周期管理。

  • 与工程团队紧密合作,推动小程序、Web 与 App 功能交付。

  • 基于业务影响、技术可行性及中国市场相关性进行需求优先级管理。

  • 确保产品高质量交付、平台合规性及系统可扩展性。

3. 生态与平台整合

  • 推动与微信生态能力的整合(登录、微信支付、社交分享及用户运营工具)。

  • 管理支付宝生态整合,包括钱包激励、支付流程及营销活动支持。

  • 与中国商业及合作伙伴团队协作,使产品规划与市场活动及文旅合作项目保持一致。

  • 在适用情况下确保符合中国相关监管与合规要求。


4. 数据增长与优化

  • 监控关键指标(用户获取、转化率、留存率及交易成功率)。

  • 在小程序平台限制条件下开展 A/B 测试并持续优化用户路径。

  • 利用数据分析提升各平台产品表现。

  • 与数据团队合作,构建面向中国用户的数据看板与洞察体系。


5. 跨团队与利益相关方管理

  • 作为中国平台的产品唯一负责人(Product Owner)。

  • 与工程、设计、市场、法务及外部合作伙伴协作推进项目。

  • 向管理层汇报产品路线图进展与业务表现。

  • 确保中国业务运营与 MOVE 区域整体战略保持一致。


任职资格与经验

必备条件

  • 6 年以上产品管理经验。

  • 具备中国数字生态产品经验(微信、支付宝或类似超级应用环境)。

  • 深入理解小程序架构及平台限制。

  • 有面向消费者的数字产品经验(优先考虑 OTA、电商、金融科技或平台型产品)。

  • 熟悉 API、微服务架构及平台集成。

  • 具备敏捷开发(Agile)工作经验。

  • 优秀的数据分析能力,能够以数据驱动决策。

  • 优秀的中英文沟通能力。
