Job description

We are seeking a self-motivated Payments Partner Manager to join our Sabre Hospitality team, where you’ll be involved in executing our business strategy by expanding our offerings through strategic partnerships.  In this role, you’ll assist in identifying, managing and developing new partnerships and oversee the integration and execution of the partnership program.  Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in payments and partnership management within a SaaS/technology environment and a strong commercial knowledge of how to identify and develop opportunities that lead to successful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and communicate best practices to support a growing partnerships program
  • Execute the partner program strategy, including the go-to-market framework and governance model to monitor its lifecycle from pipeline creation to contract closure
  • Lead research and market analysis activities on trends that might be addressed through partnership channels to speed up access to market
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand unmet needs and identifying potential partners to address market needs and internal requirements
  • Provide guidance and facilitate communication with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, engineering, finance, operations, marketing and legal throughout the various stages of partnership development
  • Assist with organizing introduction meetings with potential partner 
  • Assist with developing business term sheets and negotiating favorable deals in conjunction with legal
  • Define, monitor and report on partnership performance, track key metrics and identify areas of improvement to measure success of partnership
  • Work closely with support teams to involve partners in resolving escalated critical incidents
  • Assist in identifying, planning and researching companies to participate in Sabre Hospitality’s annual Innovation Day event

Preferred Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience in partnership management, business development or related roles at a SaaS or technology company
  • At least 3 years of experience in payments, partner program development, business development, or a related role within the software industry is required
  • Proven track record of designing and scaling partner programs that drive revenue growth
  • Demonstrated results driving revenue through channel partnerships
  • Familiarity with partnership agreements and other common business contracts
  • The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to both lead cross-functional team and execute as an individual contributor
  • Must be assertive and proactive and result-oriented
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 5-7 years of professional experience
  • Experience in the travel industry preferred
