AIG Personal General Insurance teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including A&H, Travel, Personal Property, Warranty/Service Programs in Korea. How you will create an impact

  • This role will focus on;
  • Conducting reviews of pricing adequacy for short-term insurance product or program for group insurance including Group PA, Group TA and Affinity/Welfare programs.
  • Supporting on successful program launches/bindings through effective collaboration with brokers and insurers.
  • Developing or introducing new programs or covers that can attract broker/client to develop new opportunity or program for its customer or citizens.
  • You will be responsible for;
  • Pricing general insurance product/coverage
  • Reviewing pricing adequacy for general insurance product and programs for group, affinity, etc.
  • Communicating and collaborating with internal/external parties to support successful program launch
  • Analyzing the above product portfolio to report Head of Personal General Insurance
  • Your skill and experience on general insurance pricing at the non-life insurance company will be valuable to conduct pricing and reviewing
  • Your relationships and experience with broker and sales employees in local insurers will be helpful to make a network for your success. You will need to keep close connection with them through a consistent, timely, and proactive approach. You will also aim to generate some new business and opportunity by expanding your network, and building new relationships across the market – in line with a growth plan established with your manager.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Knowledge and experience on pricing and product development for general insurance more than 5 years
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance regulations and contract especially for short-term general insurance.
  • Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Good written and oral communication skills in Korean and English
