What you bring to SBHG: 

  • Licensed with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) 

  • Valid California Driver's License. 

  • BLS CPR/First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross. 

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work or other related mental health field 

 

How you will make a difference: 

The Mental Health Specialist position involves assessing clients at the start of engagement/treatment and as needed, developing and maintaining treatment plans, and conducting family collateral and discharge planning.

 

Division/Program Overview 

 The Valley Star Crisis Mobile Response Team operates from 6 PM to 8 AM, offering rapid mental health assessments and crisis interventions. Serving all age groups—children, adolescents, adults, and older adults—the program provides essential services for individuals needing immediate crisis intervention and stabilization.
