The Logistics Manager has overall responsibility to work effectively with a matrix team to ensure the smooth flow of product between operational nodes in the supply chain. The logistics manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of tactical elements of strategy deployment to ensure strategic intent. The role will be instrumental in supporting the director in the ongoing development and improvement of Logistics Systems, to ensure that product is able to move RFT across the supply chain in the most efficient manner possible.

Oversite of site to site movement of non Pharma Logistics managed commodities both international and domestic including working with LSP’s and internal GSK stakeholders to ensure shipments are moved according to regulatory and legal requirements.
Managing the operational interface between the LSP’s and the GSK EM business (EM and GSK sites and functions), creating effective relationships to enable the LSP’s to operate successfully
Work with the appropriate functions to manage day to day operational Compliance issues associated with EM scope.
Work with the appropriate compliance areas to ensure that EM is complying with all Import/Export Controls and Sanctions Regulations.
Support of RFT movement of product including NPI logistics data set up in relation to trade route, stowage & storage conditions and leadtimes aligned to EM operations.
Ensure proactive risk identification and treatment
Support for the deployment and maintenance of Logistics Capabilities within EM to support product movements
Support Director by coordinating ad-hoc requests for data, information from team and providing summary position, and present results on behalf of team

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s Degree in science or business-related field
5+ Years in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar experiences
1+ years' Experience with SAP
1+ years' Experience working with 3rd Party Logistics Providers
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Logistics, Warehousing and Distribution
Strong communication skills including written and verbal
Strong Learning Agility
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience managing stakeholders
Agile and distributed decision-making
Committed to delivering high quality results, overcoming challenges, focusing on what matters, execution.
