Position Highlights:

  • Location: 5140 N. California Ave, Chicago, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m. Rotating Saturday mornings will be required. Start/end times can be flexible.
  • Travel Required: Skokie

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Licensed Advanced Practice Provider (PA/APN) to join our busy Urogynecology practices located in Chicago and Skokie.  The APP will be responsible to provide physician-quality care to our patients by management and treatment of female urinary disorders, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, bowel dysfunction and other female pelvic disorders.  This position is full-time and benefit eligible.  Hours will be scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:00am – 5:00pm with possibility of Saturday hours. 

What you will need:

  • License: IL Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician License (PA) Licensure, IL Controlled Substance license and Federal DEA required
  • Education: Completion of Master's level program in specialty area
  • Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
  • Experience: Prior women's health experiences required.

What you will do:

  • Evaluation, treatment, and management of urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, urinary retention, urinary tract infection, interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, painful intercourse, fecal incontinence, or defecatory dysfunction.
  • Ordering/interpreting/performing of appropriate diagnostic tests
  • Possible assisting surgeons with surgeries
  • Excision/biopsy
  • Pessary fitting and maintenance
  • Pelvic exams
  • Preoperative and postoperative evaluation with possible hospital rounding
  • Patient and family education
  • Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants
  • Ability to work with and direct the duties of other essential clinic personnel
