You will play a critical role in evolving the organization from fragmented reporting to predictive, intelligence-driven decision-making, ensuring analytics are embedded into core business processes such as workforce planning, talent strategy, and executive reviews.

This is a foundational leadership role with high visibility, requiring a blend of analytics expertise, product thinking, and strong business partnership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Capability Build

  • Define and lead the global People Intelligence & Analytics strategy
  • Build a multi-year roadmap spanning reporting, diagnostic analytics, predictive modeling, and prescriptive insights
  • Establish the operating model, including intake, prioritization, governance, and delivery mechanisms
  • Transition the organization from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-led decision-making

2. Technology & Data Ecosystem

  • Own the strategy, deployment, and adoption of Workday analytics capabilities (Prism, dashboards, People Analytics SKU)
  • Partner with People Technology, Data & Analytics teams, and external partners to design scalable solutions
  • Drive modernization of analytics infrastructure, including automation of reporting and integration across systems
  • Identify and scale opportunities for AI/advanced analytics to improve workforce insights and decision-making

3. Insights, Analytics & Business Impact

  • Deliver a comprehensive analytics portfolio across key workforce areas:
  • Headcount and workforce composition
  • Attrition and retention risk
  • Workforce planning and demand forecasting
  • Skills, mobility, and career pathways
  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Workforce cost and productivity
  • Combine People, Finance, and external labor market data to generate forward-looking insights
  • Translate complex data into clear, decision-ready recommendations with measurable business impact

4. Data Governance & Quality

  • Define and implement enterprise-wide standards for people data, metric definitions, and reporting governance
  • Improve data quality, consistency, and accessibility across people systems
  • Establish strong ownership and accountability models for people data
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements

5. Stakeholder Partnership & Storytelling

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CHRO, People leadership, and business stakeholders
  • Partner across COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, etc.) to deliver integrated insights
  • Embed analytics into core business rhythms (e.g., workforce reviews, planning cycles, talent discussions)
  • Lead executive storytelling—converting data into clear, compelling narratives that drive action

6. Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing People Analytics team across India
  • Develop capabilities across reporting, advanced analytics, visualization, and business consulting
  • Establish team standards for quality, responsiveness, and stakeholder engagement
  • Foster a culture of innovation, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Enable self-service analytics across PEOPLE and business stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10–15+ years of experience in People Analytics, Workforce Analytics, People Strategy, or related fields
  • Proven track record of building or transforming a people analytics function in a complex, global environment
  • Strong expertise in Workday analytics (Prism strongly preferred; People Analytics experience a plus)
