This is a course-by-course, part time position responsible for instruction of pre-licensure students in the clinical setting. The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of pre-licensure students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency.

Duties/Responsibilities

The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of pre-licensure students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency:

  • Supervise and instruct prelicensure students in clinical environment

  • Deliver instructional material in alignment with course objectives and student outcomes

  • Utilize a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote student learning

  • Evaluate and document student progress and provide relevant and timely feedback to students

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following conditions:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing

  • BS in Nursing, currently matriculated in an MSN or health care related graduate program

  • BS in Nursing with extensive relevant experience


Experience:

  • At least two years of recent, relevant nursing experience in the specialty which you are applying for

Licensure:

  • Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multi-state registered nurse license issued by a compact state

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with college age and non-traditional students

  • Skill in working with culturally diverse constituencies in the academic environment

Compensation Pay Range:

$5,000-$7,000

Pay is per-course assignment and varies by course depending on number of credits, students, and hours.
