AIG underwriting teams help to find insurance solutions in areas including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. How you will create an impact

• Report to Casualty branch manage; review new application/renewal requests, evaluate risks 
•  Prepare and present quotations to producers, work with producing channels to achieve production goals
• Check policies and endorsements, complete underwriting filing documents 
• Provide technical supports and training to producing channels
• Meet with clients  and brokers to promote Casualty product, interact and negotiate with clients directly when needed
• Monitor loss ratio for responsible portfolio and implement necessary improvement measures
• Provide technical advice to Claims regarding scope of coverage, interpretation of wordings, etc.
• Participate in AIG corporate AML training, and be obligated to perform AML related duties, including KYC, large/suspicious transaction reports, high-risk customer reports etc.
• Ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by managers.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Underwriting experience is preferred; however, you are welcome to apply if you have other relevant professional experience.

• The ability to analyze financial statements.

• Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Customer and Sales orientated behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
