Project Role : Business and Integration Practitioner
Project Role Description : Assists in documenting the integration strategy endpoints and data flows. Is familiar with the entire project life-cycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and operations to ensure successful integration. Under the guidance of the Architect, ensure the integration strategy meets business goals.

Summary:
Design, configure, and deliver enterprise SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement solutions by combining strong marketing and customer engagement domain expertise with AI assisted delivery and integration practices. The role focuses on accelerating campaign execution, improving personalization and customer experience, and embedding pre built AI and automation capabilities into omnichannel engagement workflows—without building or training AI models.
Core Responsibilities
Enterprise Customer Engagement Delivery
Design, configure, and implement SAP Emarsys solutions for omnichannel marketing, personalization, and customer lifecycle management.
Translate marketing, sales, and business requirements into scalable customer journeys, segments, and campaigns.
Support end to end delivery including enhancements, integrations, testing, rollouts, and production support.
AI Assisted Delivery & Productivity
Use AI copilots and GenAI tools to accelerate campaign design, segmentation logic, content structuring, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Apply AI assisted techniques to identify engagement patterns, campaign performance trends, and optimization opportunities.
Leverage pre built AI capabilities within Emarsys (e.g., recommendations, automation, intelligent insights) to enhance personalization and engagement effectiveness.
Integration & Data Enablement
Integrate SAP Emarsys with CRM, commerce, ERP, and data platforms using standard enterprise integration patterns.
Collaborate with marketing, IT, and data teams to ensure consistent customer data, consent management, and governance.
Understand AI concepts such as recommendations, next best action, and intelligent segmentation at an applied level, without owning model design.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with marketing, digital, and business stakeholders to align engagement strategies with customer and revenue objectives.
Communicate complex customer engagement and system concepts clearly to non technical audiences.
Act as a bridge between functional teams and AI native specialists when advanced AI capabilities are required.
Quality, Governance & Adoption
Ensure adherence to enterprise SDLC, data privacy, consent, security, and responsible AI guidelines.
Support change management, enablement, and adoption across marketing and business teams.
Drive continuous improvement using performance metrics, feedback, and AI enabled accelerators.
Primary Skills (Must Have)
SAP Emarsys Customer Engagement configuration and delivery expertise.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer journeys, and personalization concepts.
Experience using AI assisted tools or copilots for delivery, analysis, or documentation.
Ability to align customer engagement solutions with business growth and experience outcomes.
Secondary / Good to Have Skills
Experience with CRM, commerce, or customer data platforms.
Exposure to campaign analytics, reporting, or customer insights.
Familiarity with consent management, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Working knowledge of automation or intelligent recommendations in marketing contexts.
What This Role Does Not Require
No training or fine tuning of AI/ML models.
No ownership of AI architectures or MLOps pipelines.
Focus remains on integration, adoption, and productivity uplift, not AI engineering or research.
