Diploma Trainee – Electrical / Civil – Fixed Term contract
 

Location: Chennai, India
Experience: Fresher 2026 or 2025 batch
Qualification: Diploma in Electrical / Civil Engineering
No of openings: Electrical – 4; Civil - 1

We invite enthusiastic Diploma Graduates (Electrical & Civil) to join its structured training program, focused on substation engineering, HV equipment, renewable energy, and global power infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Undergo structured training programs during the initial period to build understanding of substation design, tools, and processes.
• Learn and gain proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation (2D) and Revit/BIM tools (where applicable).
• Assist Engineers and Designers in preparing basic drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.

• Responding to the project managers and clients’ directions in a receptive and customer focused manner.
• Learning digital tools, techniques and apply the same on projects to create efficiency in the delivery.

• Prepare basic reports, checklists, and documentation as required

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Diploma in Electrical / Civil Engineering with minimum 70% aggregate marks in the final examination.
• Basic Knowledge of CAD/BIM software tools is preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and substations is preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills
