About the Role

We are currently looking for a Scientific Advisor to join our Haematology team at GSK Australia. You’ll provide medical and technical expertise in the development and implementation of product strategy, advising on various medical projects and activities and support the development and execution of scientific activities and communication.

Your role will be varied and will include:

  • Representing Medical in brand teams, ensuring active participation and contribution. 
  • Maintaining current knowledge of medical literature
  • Providing literature appraisals to the brand team
  • Providing guidance on promotional and non-promotional materials
  • Reviewing and approving promotional and non-promotional materials

About you?

To be successful in the role, you’ll have a strong technical understanding of the Medical Affairs space, using this to provide guidance to a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.

You’ll also have:

  • Degree in pharmacy, biomedical science, or medicine
  • Experience in a Scientific Advisor, Medical Science Liaison, or similar role
  • Experience in Haematology or Oncology preferred
  • A working knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code
  • Demonstrated experience working autonomously to understand new concepts
