PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Serving as an expert about the structural heart therapy and MitraClip medical device for the organization.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides technical support to clinicians in operating room/cathlabs for the procedures with the structural heart medical device.

• Maintains customer and physician relationships.

• Facilitates communication among the relevant functions (e.g. interventionalists, cardiac surgeons, echocardiologists) for procedure scheduling and successful clinical outcomes with structural heart medical device.

• Implements field based physician and clinical staff training programs.

• Calls on referring physicians to present structural heart technology and clinical data/evidence.

• Executes activities to meet annual sales, profit, and budgetary goals.

• Acts in compliance with applicable procedures and policies.

EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Degree in Biomedical Engineer or equivalent;

• Good knowledge both of Italian and English (listening and writing);

• Clinical orientation;

• Presentation Skills & predisposition to relations;

• Results Driven;

• 1/2 years of previous relevant working experience (e.g. Medical Devices).
