What You Will Do:

-We are seeking an Expense Auditor for the public sector with expertise in auditing expenses in Costpoint.

-The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough audits to ensure compliance with our T&E Policy, identifying discrepancies, and providing exceptional customer service to our employees.

-This includes promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns related to expense auditing and providing clear and helpful guidance to employees regarding expense policies and procedures.

-This role also requires knowledge of cash application processes to assist with ad hoc cash application duties.


What You Will Need:

- Requires a University Bachelor's Degree; four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 

- Minimum of TWO (2) years of relevant experience.

- Conduct thorough audits of employees' expense reports to ensure compliance with the internal travel and expense policy.

- Review and verify expense receipts, invoices, and supporting documentation for accuracy and adherence to policy guidelines.

- Identify discrepancies or potential fraudulent activities and take appropriate actions to resolve them.

- Communicate audit findings to employees and provide clear and helpful guidance on expense policies and procedures.

- Collaborate with leadership to address any inquiries or concerns related to expense auditing.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of audit findings and related documentation.

- Meet department deadlines by efficiently managing workload and prioritizing tasks.

- Assist with cash application duties, including applying cash receipts to clients accounts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

- Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work effectively under limited supervision and meet department deadlines.

- Proficiency in using expense management software and tools.

- Knowledge of public sector travel and expense policies and regulations is a plus.

- Familiarity with cash application processes and accounting principles related to cash management.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

*Preference will be given to candidates who reside within a reasonable miles of a GH office.  

The annual salary range for this position is $57,000.00-$85,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
