Work as part of the Policies Oversight Management (POM) team to assist in the development and update of Accenture’s policies and management of our policy system. The role involves exposure to senior Accenture leadership and will also include management of key policy stakeholder groups, the application of governance principles and running organizational wide policy update programs, as well as larger policy transformation projects.

The role will also include involvement with Accenture’s wider global Ethics Programs such as compliance mailbox oversight, the Code of Business Ethics, required ethics and compliance curriculum planning and course development, personal conflicts of interest management and communications.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

General:

• Work as a key member of the POM team to review newly created and updated Accenture policies

• Work with the POM lead to manage and drive strategic projects and programs across the policy landscape within Accenture

• Provide recommendations for improving program structure and/or delivery

• Execute program assessments and leverage data analytics to identify inefficiencies to drive innovation, improvement and efficiencies

• Manage a portion of the design and implementation of various programs or initiatives

• Identify change management implications related to project or program impacts

• Provide consistent reporting on program status to ensure all stakeholders are informed

Specific:

• Assist in policy oversight activities, including managing day-to-day relationships with policy sponsors and approvers

• Assist in the development, drafting and rationalization of company policies generally

• Conduct editorial reviews of new or revised policies for conformity with policy guidelines, consistency in writing and level of detail, necessity and scope of the policy and to identify any contradictions, conflicts or redundancies with existing policies

• Manage requests and the governance process for requests to share Accenture’s policies externally

• Develop and deliver relevant policy guideline training to Accenture’s global policy community

• Manage larger scale policy update programs

• Assist in planning and drafting communication plans and individual communications related to policies, ethics and compliance and related initiatives

📌 Education: 

• Undergraduate degree

• Business and technical background a plus

📌 Work Experience: 

• Typically has minimum of 3+ years of experience

• Experience managing multiple small to medium projects and initiatives

• Experience in program management and budget management

• Experience in change management principles and approaches

📌 Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

• Fluent in English (mandatory)

• Excellent business writing and editing skills

• Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills

• Experience in policies oversight and drafting a plus

• Should be a self-starter with initiative and creative ideas

• Good at time management with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

• Understanding of process design concepts and methodologies

• Project management skills a plus

• Analytical skills; collects and researches project data

• Very proficient in Word, Excel and PPT along with other MS tools
