Responsibilities:
• Business Data Ownership of Pipeline Data that supports PPM data needs. Data is acquired, integrated and conformed from Planning systems (like Planisware), Effort Systems, Finance Systems, Master/Reference Data Systems, HR systems etc.
• Accountable of the data security and integrity of the Business Ready Analytical models or systems in his/her remit
• Define the data enrichment requirements, business rules, metrics, and targets for the pipeline data
• Monitor and report on the data quality performance and issues, drive cross functional teams towards resolving or remediating data concerns/risks
• Collaborate with the data stewards, data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to proactively improve data quality and suggest relevant solutions.
• Identify and prioritize the data management initiatives and projects
• Establish and enforce the data standards, policies, and procedures
• Provide guidance and support to the data consumers and data producers
• Advocate for the data quality culture and best practices across the organization
• Conduct data analysis and investigations independently using data query languages and tools (SQL, Programs, IDE etc.)
• Advise operations team on continuous improvement opportunities
• Articulate business needs into data requirements, user/enabler stories, acceptance criteria and ensure alignment
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, data management, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience with a coverage of roles spanning across metadata management, information modeling, data quality, or data governance
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the data domain of pipeline project management and the business processes and functions that rely on it
• Proficient in data management approaches, methodologies, and frameworks.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven
