Position Overview:

We are looking for a driven, detail-obsessed Senior Events Manager to own the full lifecycle of B2B events, from strategy and planning through flawless on-site execution. This is a fast-paced role for someone who thrives in high-output environments, moves quickly without sacrificing quality, and understands that every event is a demand generation engine, not just a brand moment.

You will plan and execute a range of B2B events including trade shows, conferences, hosted dinners, roundtables, and proprietary activations. Critically, you will work hand-in-hand with sales and marketing to ensure every event is tied to measurable pipeline outcomes,  turning attendee engagement into qualified leads and closed opportunities.

This role also requires someone who knows how to activate the full marketing engine around an event, not just show up to it. That means building pre-event campaigns that drive qualified registration, creating in-event moments that deepen engagement, and owning post-event follow-up that converts attendance into pipeline for Viral Nation.

The right person for this role is energized by ambiguity rather than slowed by it. Our environment moves fast and doesn't always come with a playbook. We need someone who figures things out, makes smart decisions with incomplete information, and gets better as they go.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the annual B2B events calendar, including industry conferences, executive roundtables, hosted dinners, and proprietary brand activations.
  • Evaluate and prioritize event opportunities based on audience fit, sales alignment, and pipeline ROI potential.
  • Build detailed project plans and timelines for each event, managing logistics, budgets, vendors, and deliverables from kickoff through post-event wrap.
  • Activate the full marketing engine around every event. Work collaboratively with paid media and content marketing to build pre-event campaigns that drive qualified registration, create in-event content that amplifies reach, and execute post-event nurture sequences that convert attendance into pipeline.
  • Lead all aspects of execution in partnership with Event Specialist including  booth setup, speaker management, staffing, attendee experience, and real-time problem-solving.
  • Partner with sales before every event to align on target account lists, goals, and on-site meeting strategies.
  • Implement lead capture processes at events, ensuring data flows accurately and promptly into CRM systems.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing to align event messaging with active campaigns, ensuring consistency in audience targeting and brand voice.
  • Track and report on event KPIs including leads generated, meetings booked, pipeline influenced, and cost per lead.
  • Conduct post-event reviews and continuously refine processes, templates, and playbooks to improve efficiency and results over time.

Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years of marketing experience in B2B, agency, or marketing services environments
  • Hands-on experience executing demand generation and lead-focused B2B campaigns
  • Strong background in B2B events marketing, ideally within the U.S. market
  • Solid understanding of creator marketing and social media marketing from an agency perspective
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where managing multiple events simultaneously is the norm
  • Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys figuring things out. This role doesn't always come with a playbook and the right person will build their own.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, moves with urgency, and gets things done without being asked twice
  • Exceptionally organized with the ability to manage competing priorities, complex timelines, and multiple stakeholders without dropping the ball
  • Strong communicator with proven experience managing external partners and vendors, holding them accountable while maintaining productive working relationships
  • Experience managing junior team members or specialists
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to execute complex programs across multiple channels
  • Data-driven mindset with experience supporting lead and pipeline reporting
This role has an annual salary range of $85,000 to $110,000

This range reflects the full scope and progression of the role, from building capability to operating with sustained impact at a higher level. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package designed to support our team as they grow with us.

Where an offer falls within this range is determined through the interview process. Candidates are benchmarked by the hiring team based on role scope, relevant experience, skill alignment, and expected impact, using consistent and objective criteria.
