Position Summary

We have a very exciting opportunity to at CVS Health for a Shared Services FP&A Analyst Role to work on an exciting and new Corporate Payroll Initiative

Job Description
As the FP&A Analyst of the new Single Payor Initiative, you will report to the FP&A Manager of the Single Payor Project. This role is an integral part of Shared Services Finance team. It involves supporting the FP&A manager in all aspects of work related to “Single Payor” to ensure that Payroll process for Shared Services Finance works as expected, it is timely and there are robust controls to ensure accuracy. The analyst will assist the manager in summarizing operational data into reports that are consumed by various functional groups and business units. The analyst will support the FP&A manager to resolve issues, participate in improvements projects, ensure continuous process improvement, and manage relationships with various stakeholders and customers.

The FP&A Analyst will assist the FP&A Manager in

  • Overseeing all End-to-End financial aspects of the new Single Payor Initiative for the Shared Services Finance Organization
  • Developing robust financial controls to ensure there are no upstream or downstream issues
  • Synthesizing and researching Single Payor project related data in CVS’s Financial Systems (which include SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Anaplan Workforce Planning and Workday) to conduct research
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams like EPPM, Business FP&A, Shared Services FP&A, Business Accounting teams and Payroll team to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in improvement projects for timely delivery through robust planning, execution, engagement, documentation, and monitoring
  • Serving as gatekeeper for Single Payor process for change management
  • Partnering with Finance IT and business units as needed
  • Work on Ad Hoc projects as requested


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting Experience
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Knowledge of CVS’s Financial Systems including SAP and Oracle General Ledger, Hyperion, Anaplan Workforce Planning and Workday
  • Excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-level assignments simultaneously.
  • Experience with Anaplan Workforce Planning, SAP Business Intelligence: S/4HANA, and Hyperion
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, Project and Outlook
  • Willingness to work in a balanced hybrid environment


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Payroll/HR specific technologies, particularly Workday HCM/Payroll
  • Experience with Projects in HR Domain


Education

Bachelor's degree in in finance, accounting or economics and or equivalent relevant professional work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
