Retail Technology is responsible for the world-leading application of technology and operations across every aspect of CommBank - from innovative product platforms for our customers, to essential tools within our business. We also use technology to drive simplicity and better banking, an essential component of great customer service underpinning a strong emphasis on software development as a craft and the adoption of industry best engineering practices.
You’ll be part of Engineering Practice & Enablement team which sit in the Retail Technology Engineering Domain. This team is responsible for driving uplift in DevSecOps practices across Retail Tech. Our mission is to enable engineers build and deliver changes in our applications more quickly & efficiently without comprising on risk and quality concerns. We do this by looking at ways to streamline and drive simplification in DevSecpOps tooling, technologies, and processes across the group.
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the end to end product strategy & development, and delivery of new product feature initiatives focused on uplifting DevOps practice across Retail Technology. You’ll play an important role in shaping the evolution of the squad by contributing in defining delivery roadmaps, prioritising backlog , drafting quarterly crew memos and deciding which problems to invest in solving.
