The Role

Entegris is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor who can lead and optimize operations in a fastpaced, technologydriven, and continuously improving manufacturing environment. This role provides operational leadership in planning, organizing, and enhancing production activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets. As part of the new Precursor Chemicals project, the Senior Supervisor will play a critical role in establishing stable operations, ensuring operational readiness, driving process improvements, and developing a highperformance production team. This position is based at the Oseong Plant in Korea. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead and supervise employees in the manufacturing & Shipping of New Precursor Chemical products, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations.  

  • Manage and optimize key production KPIs, including yield, throughput, equipment downtime, scrap reduction, and OEE/OLE performance. 

  • Oversee production planning, RM/consumables forecasting, inventory management, and warehouse operations to ensure uninterrupted supply. 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Work Instructions (WI), SOPs, and required documentation in alignment with Quality System standards. 

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, process efficiency, equipment utilization, and 5S. 

  • Ensure full compliance with Quality Systems, including training, documentation, audit readiness, CAPA execution, and regulatory requirements.  

  • Provide leadership in team development, including training, competency qualification, scheduling, and personnel management. 

 

What We Seek 

Must Have 

  • B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related engineering field. 

  • 5–10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing with proven supervisory leadership. 

  • Strong understanding of production operations, SOP/WI compliance, and Quality Systems. 

  • Experience in raw material/consumables planning, inventory control, and warehouse operations. 

  • English proficiency for communication with global stakeholders. 

  • Strong problemsolving capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment. 

Preferred 

  • Experience with precursor chemical handling, including canisterbased systems. 

  • Experience supporting chemical plant startups, rampup, commissioning, or operational readiness. 

  • Knowledge of Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies. 

  • Handson experience with CAPA, internal/external audits, and regulatory compliance. 

  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems for production and warehouse operations.

  • Operational Leadership: Ability to stabilize operations, drive KPIs, and lead teams effectively. 

  • Technical Problem Solving: Skilled in RCA, deviation management, and corrective action deployment. 

  • Quality & Compliance Mindset: Strong understanding of documentation, audits, and regulatory expectations. 

  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Able to work seamlessly with Engineering, Facilities, QA/QC, Supply Chain, IT, and EHS teams. 

  • Communication & Accountability: Clear communicator who promotes transparency, ownership, and teamwork.
