Position Summary...

What you'll do...

This role will report to the Senior Director of Transportation Planning. You will work closely with the forecasting, and planning functions of the team to understand the transportation workload that needs to be covered based on updated demand signals. These plans can involve various driver and equipment types across all networks. You will partner with Field Operations to enable capacity plans outlining the capacity for each network and parts of the country so that we can properly advise the business areas to increase/decrease capacity through various means. You will also be responsible to feedback Field inputs to the planning and forecasting processes, and for performing appropriate root cause analysis for plan variances. This role is based in Bentonville, AR.

  • Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal; with ability to communicate / present to Operations teams, also ability to express complex technical topics clearly & easily.
  • Deep understanding of Transportation Operations and/or Supply Chain network.
  • Can effectively synthesize, visualize, and story-tell using data. Ability to perform analysis using MS Excel.
  • Proven track record of driving cross functional initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and often lack of clarity, demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.

  • Partner with various Transportation teams to develop best-in-class Operational planning to identify defects programmatically, proactively and intelligently, and enable root cause analysis and case management to eliminate defects.
  • Ensure final deliverables are actionable and communicated in a way that drives quantifiable business benefit in terms of improved efficiencies or improved decision making.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Operations, and other key stakeholders. Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related
area OR 6 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
2 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
