Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Assists Psychology Director of Collaborative Care and Executive Director of Psychiatry in the development of the clinical operations of the division. 
  • Develops and disseminates reports to leadership team and division providers on clinical and business activity, as applicable.
  • Oversees provider workflows and scheduling as needed.
  • Participates in projects, initiatives, and committees within the division, department and hospital as requested; Develop and implement methods and procedures to enhance clinical and daily operations.
  • Leads process improvement activities for the division such as the identification of new revenue opportunities.
  • Monitors, approves, and tracks expenditures including supply orders and expense reimbursements.
  • ETA approver for staff as assigned by Sr. Director/Division Administrator. 
  • Assists Psychology Director of Collaborative Care and Executive Director of Psychiatry with onboarding of new providers. 
  • Assists Psychology Director of Collaborative Care and Executive Director of Psychiatry in efforts to maximize clinical revenue; including monitoring for effective charge capture, addressing open encounters and denied claims, and coordinating billing education and training sessions.
  • Other functions as assigned.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree required and 1-3 years healthcare or relevant experience preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability; proficiency in Excel; the ability to understand and interpret financial data; solid quantitative and qualitative skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a leadership role with clinical, business and administrative staff.  Strong customer service skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
