Job Description Summary

The Foreman is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a 3rd party contractors on sites that require Major Component Exchange. This role demands a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and coordination with the overall MCE services team. The Foreman will ensure that all MCE operations are conducted in compliance with industry standards, company policies, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Management:

    • Enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols, including OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

    • Conduct daily safety inspections of the equipment and work area.

      • LOTO, Safety Inspections

    • Ensure appropriate training certifications in place.

    • Implement and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.

  • Operations Management:

    • Communicate effectively with customer operations leads on site

    • Coordinate and supervise all activities on the active site.

    • Ensure latest documentation and standard work is being utilized.

    • Review Lift Plans, Wind Speed Limits, other relevant crane information.

    • Ensure timely completion of MCE-related tasks according to project schedule.

    • Communicate effectively with project management and other stakeholders.

  • Quality Control:

    • Verify that all operations are performed to the highest quality standards.

      • Core 100, quality report, latest torque specs

    • Inspect work for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

    • Address quality issues promptly and effectively.

  • Personnel Management:

    • Ensure performance of all crew members on site.

    • Provide guidance as needed.

    • Address performance issues with 3rd party as required.

  • Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate and complete records of operations, inspections, and maintenance to company standards.

    • Prepare daily and weekly reports on activities and performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a foreman or similar leadership role.

  • Knowledge of crane operations, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Additional Notes

  • This position may require working irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

  • Position is a Full Time traveling role
