Blue Yonder, a leading supply chain software company, is seeking a Product Director to join our Product Management team. This is a highly visible and impactful role responsible for leading the development and execution of our product strategy. The Product Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to bring new products to market that meet the needs of our customers.

What you’ll do

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the product strategy for our suite of supply chain software products, specifically focusing on the transition from traditional S&OP to IBP.
  • Conduct market research and stay current with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet customer needs.
  • Participate in defining and prioritizing the product roadmap, gathering customer requirements, and making data-driven recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Measure and analyze the success of product launches and make recommendations for future improvements.
  • Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders, both internally and externally.

What we are looking for

  • IBP/S&OP Mastery: 5+ years of deep domain knowledge in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Experience: You have been either a practitioner (Planning Manager, S&OP Director) or have led the delivery/consulting of S&OP/IBP transformations for large enterprises.
  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with planning concepts like demand planning, supply planning, financial reconciliation, and scenario-based decision-making for different decision horizons.
  • Product Management: Prior experience in Product Management is a significant bonus but not strictly required if you have extensive delivery or practitioner experience.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to translate abstract business requirements into concrete software requirements.
  • Customer Obsession: A passion for supporting early-stage customers in their digital transformation journeys.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment where the product is rapidly evolving based on customer feedback.
