About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Consumer Banking and Lending (CBL) Marketing organization. This team is responsible for driving profitable customer and balance growth at scale through effective, insights-driven marketing initiatives—especially within digital channels.
In this role, you will help lead a high‑impact team focused on delivering innovative, customer‑obsessed marketing campaigns while championing a strong test‑and‑learn agenda for creative and channel strategies.
In This Role, You Will
Lead a team responsible for developing and executing complex, high‑visibility Growth Marketing campaigns across owned digital, paid digital, and direct mail channels.
Manage team-led marketing program initiatives to acquire customers and drive balance growth, ensuring on-time, on-strategy execution aligned with channel governance, best practices, and cross‑channel considerations.
Identify operational gaps within marketing execution processes and develop solutions to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance overall campaign delivery.
Navigate existing campaign execution processes to ensure flawless and timely delivery.
Oversee a rigorous test-and-learn framework, with a focus on creative optimization to enhance customer experience and improve conversion.
Ensure creative assets are thoroughly tested for accuracy, functionality, brand alignment, and required tracking.
Manage all legal, compliance, and risk‑related approvals with exceptional attention to detail.
Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring accurate pre‑ and post‑launch creative delivery.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and accelerate speed‑to‑market.
Utilize strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and adjust creative and channel strategies based on insights to drive higher engagement and conversion.
Manage cross-channel impacts and adhere to governance standards and best practices.
Collaborate with partners across the organization—including business units, cross‑functional teams, and external vendors—to drive seamless end‑to‑end execution.
Lead and support change management efforts to enhance processes and support continuous improvement.
Serve as a subject matter expert in customer marketing, digital marketing, and growth strategy, bringing best practices and innovation to the team.
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of Marketing, E-business, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience delivering customer‑insight‑driven thought leadership and guiding cross‑functional teams toward actionable recommendations that improve business results.
Financial services marketing experience, preferably within consumer or small business checking products.
Proven ability to prioritize work, manage deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic, complex environment.
Strong time‑management skills with a consistent track record of meeting commitments.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Familiarity with key marketing technologies such as Aprimo, IBM Campaign Management, and Salesforce.
BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
