Job Description:

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for managing the sourcing activities, process improvement, compliance, tracking and supervising supplier relationships for all Supply Chain and Retail purchases including equipment, services, consumables and supplies. 

Here's what you’ll do: 

  • Responsible to maximize value by reducing the overall costs of equipment, consumable goods and services purchased by Supply Chain and Retail.  

  • Identify and address cost savings opportunities across the Supply Chain and Retail segments through spend analytics and bench marking, sourcing strategy development, supplier negotiations to strategically provide programs that bring best value to Supply Chain and Retail.  

  • Serve as a single point of contact between all departments within Supply Chain and Retail. 

  • Conduct spend analysis, analyze supply markets, identify sourcing value levers, execute competitive RFI's, RFP's and eAuctions and lead supplier negotiations.  

  • Analyze and confirm current spend, suppliers and agreements.  

  • Provide leadership to drive continuous improvement in spend management processes and implemented tactics to drive compliance across Supply Chain and Retail.  

  • Prioritize cost reduction opportunities and communicate with business unit leaders to highlight potential savings, understand the requirements of their business, and develop and execute RFI's / RFP's and eAuctions to support the business needs.  

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and helping define specifications and providing budgets for Cap X project spending.  

  • Manage special projects, driving procurement and supplier initiatives.  

  • Establish and report Key Performance Indicators KPI's which include initial landed cost and year on year price reductions targets, service quality, on time delivery improvements and material parts inventory reductions all tied to specific P&L targeted goals. 

  • Responsible for department management including staffing, training, performance management and career development of associates, and developing and monitoring department goals. Develop and monitor department budget as required.  

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. 

Here’s what you’ll need:  

  • Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 

  • Three to Five years in indirect procurement, process improvement. 

  • One year of supervisory experience preferred. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization.  

  • Ability to effectively work with vendors.  

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, problem solving, organization and prioritization skills.  

  • Ability to build complex spreadsheets.  

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senor management.  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
