Key Responsibilities
AI/ML Development: Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning and NLP models to solve complex business problems.
Generative AI & LLMs: Work with state-of-the-art LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, Claude) to build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, prompt engineering workflows, and agentic systems.
Intelligent Document Processing (IDP): Build and optimize pipelines for advanced PDF/document extraction using vision-language models, OCR, and ML-based layout analysis.
Data Pipelines: Clean, pre-process, and tokenize large-scale textual and structural data for training and fine-tuning models.
Collaboration: Partner with senior engineers and product managers to integrate AI capabilities into our core product offerings.
Research & Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in GenAI, NLP, and open-source AI frameworks to propose innovative solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech/M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
Core Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and standard ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn).
NLP & GenAI Stack: Hands-on experience with frameworks like Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, ChromaDB, Milvus).
Document Processing: Experience with PDF extraction libraries and approaches (e.g., PyMuPDF, LayoutLM, Tesseract OCR, AWS Textract, or vision-based extraction).
Fundamentals: Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, embeddings, and transformer architectures.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, eagerness to learn rapidly, and excellent communication skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
