Summary: We are seeking an experienced Azure System Administrator to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale Azure Data Lake environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, and optimized cloud infrastructure, enabling seamless data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics. This role requires expertise in Azure services, infrastructure automation, and system administration to support business-critical data platform initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities: Design & Deployment Implement and configure Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen1/Gen2) for enterprise-scale data solutions. Set up Azure Virtual Networks, Subnets, Firewalls, and NSGs for secure connectivity. Configure Azure Active Directory (AAD) for authentication and role-based access. Support data pipelines and ETL workflows with integration to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, etc. Professional & Technical Skills: System Administration & Maintenance Monitor and manage storage accounts, clusters, and access controls. Perform patching, updates, and security hardening of Azure infrastructure. Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies are in place. Optimize performance and cost efficiency of storage and compute resources. Security & Compliance Implement least privilege access control and manage role-based access policies. Monitor security logs and alerts to ensure compliance with organizational policies. Ensure data governance and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc., as applicable). Automation & Optimization Use ARM Templates, Terraform, or Bicep for infrastructure automation. Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python scripting. Optimize storage structures, retention policies, and lifecycle management. Collaboration & Support Work with data engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to support end-to-end data platform needs. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure Data Lake environments. Document processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure PaaS. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. good to have : IFS Cloud exposure A 15 years full time education is required.
