INVENTORY PLANNING SECTION

The Inventory Planning Section plays an important role within the organization and is part of AMIEO Customer Quality Management team with strong ties to Inventory Control. Inventory Planning is responsible for several activities as New Model project management, Parts Master Maintenance, Obsolescence Management & Business Planning

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive After Sales Logistics AMIEO Reporting and Planning Coordinator to join our team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating after-sales logistics reporting and planning activities across the AMIEO region, ensuring efficient and effective operations that meet customer needs and organizational goals. Additionally, this role involves leading a small team to achieve departmental objectives, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing scrap and obsolescence processes, supporting business planning activities, and aligning systems and processes with the new AMIO operations. NMPC is aiming to replace it’s current mainframe with an SAP solution and this project has recently started. Further roll-out within the broader region is planned for the near future. You will report to the Section Manager Inventory Planning.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain detailed logistics reports and dashboards to track performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate the planning and scheduling of after-sales logistics activities, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies.
  • Align systems and processes to support the integration and operational efficiency of AMIO within the AMIEO structure.
  • Analyse logistics data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Assist in the development and execution of logistics improvement projects and initiatives across the AMIEO region with a focus on the pending SAP implementation.

 

REQUIRED BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5 year+ working experience in Logistics or an applicable field, preferably with some management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • High ability to work independent with strong focus on team results
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access. SAP and/or Tableau experience is considered a plus.
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Dutch or additional languages relevant to the AMIEO region are a plus
